1st Place: Pa's Peninsula Peeps — 87 points
Started strong, hit a mild midgame dip, then rocketed forward with a 20-point Round 5 and a confident 20 on the final. Efficient. Clean. Deadly. The Peeps didn’t dominate every round, but they picked all the right moments — the sign of either veteran brilliance or extremely lucky guesswork. We’ll allow both.
2nd Place: Scratch Paper People — 73 points
A slow, scribbly start, but once the picture round hit, they flipped into test-taking mode and never looked back. A clutch final wager sealed second place. Who knew that “using scratch paper” would be the team’s whole personality and their path to the podium? Happy Birthday, Kenji!
3rd Place: Real Quiz Wives of Torrance — 65 points
A massive 12 in Round 3 had them flirting with a silver-medal night… and then the final wager slapped them with a tidy –1. Not catastrophic, just annoying — much like most reality-TV drama.
