DaNile (069) proved once again that falling behind early is merely a suggestion. After a goose egg in Round 1, they flipped the switch, dominated the middle of the game, nailed the final wager, and cruised to the win with 96 points. Bold strategy. Effective execution.
Scratch Paper People (128) stayed dangerously consistent all night and finished just five points back at 91. No drama, no collapses — just a solid, professional trivia performance.
One Hour Hotdogg (070) with 82, powered by a big Round 6 and a confident final wager. When they’re hot, they’re… well, you get it.
A tie at 77 featured Pa’s Peninsula Peeps (017) and Mr. Bottomley’s Jacket (074). The Peeps came out strong early but stalled mid-game due to questionable AI, while the Jacket took the scenic route and finished strong. Different paths, same parking spot.
Not Too Old to Rock and Roll proved that the name is a lie, finishing with 72, while Your Brain On Ale (051) kept things respectable at 62 despite never fully finding a gear.
Rounding things out, Real Quiz Wives of Torrance (130) had a promising start before going radio silent late, and Abracadabra pulled a few tricks but couldn’t quite make the points appear.
