One Hour Hotdogg (59 pts) held onto the win, but it got a little shaky at the end. They built a strong game, hitting 64 before the final, then dropped a -5 and had to sweat it out. Still, it was enough. Not pretty, but it counts.
Scratch Paper People (54 pts) made a nice late push with a +5 final to slide into second. Solid all around, no disasters, and just enough momentum at the end to separate themselves.
Your Brain On Ale (53 pts) and Calico Crazies (53 pts) finished tied, with Your Brain On Ale winning the tiebreaker. Brain stayed steady and played it safe with a 0 final, while Calico Crazies went for it with a +10 to force the tie. Two very different strategies, same score, one winner.
The Middle Shuffle
DaNile (50 pts) was right in the mix heading into the final, then took a -5 that dropped them out of contention. Another case of a decent night slipping late.
Bar Backs (48 pts) had a rough mid-game with negative points but bounced back with a +10 final to salvage something respectable.
The Drop-Off
Cappy's Crew (28 pts) never quite found a rhythm and then made things worse with a -10 final. Tough night all around.
The Quizly Bears (7 pts) showed up, put some points on the board early… and then just kind of stopped. A minimalist approach to trivia.
